Professors Jan Rychtar and Jonathan Rowell successfully completed the first summer of the NSF funded REU project in mathematical biology. They worked with 8 undergraduate students coming to UNCG for 10 weeks (mid May – end of July). The students came from Appalachian State University, Bennett College, Miami University, Michigan State University, NC State University, UNCG and UNC Wilmington.
