Student researchers gather at the Regional Mathematics and Statistics Conference at UNCG

On the 7th and 8th of November 2025, 68 participants from 21 different institutions from North Carolina and beyond gathered for the 21st Regional Mathematics and Statistics Conference on our campus. Participants heard an exciting array of talks by student researchers, as well as a plenary talk by Dr. Paul Bendich from Geometric Data Analytics, Inc. They also engaged a panel of experts on careers in math & stats outside of academia. RMSC will be back again next November, and we hope to see many more students with a passion for mathematics and statistics on our campus for RMSC 2026.
