Regional Mathematics and Statistics Conference

Abstract Submission Guidelines

An abstract is a one-paragraph summary of your research project. It should provide a concise non-technical overview of the context and scope of your work. Please follow this check-list when submitting the abstract for your presentation as part of your conference registration:

  • The length should be about 100-200 words, with a maximum of 200 words.
  • The language should be understandable by a non-specialist.
  • Avoid if possible any mathematical symbols; if you must use them then include the corresponding LaTeX code. Never include LaTeX code with user-defined commands because such a piece of code cannot be compiled outside your source file.
  • Show the abstract to your research mentors and have them approve it before registering for the conference.
