As an example of the Department’s expanding community engagement effort, Sat Gupta was a co-author and lead statistician on a paper with nurse researchers from Cone Health that won the 2016 AORN Journal Writers Contest for the article “Pressure Ulcers: Factors Contributing to Their Development in the OR.” The award will be presented to the authors at the AORN Surgical Conference and Expo in Boston, MA, April 3, 2017.
