The Department successfully hosted the International Conference on Advances in Interdisciplinary Statistics and Combinatorics (AISC) October 5-7, 2018. There were 8 plenary talks, 122 other talks (25 of which were given by students) and 174 delegates. Congratulations to Sat Gupta and the members of the organizing committee for organizing a successful conference.

The Department successfully hosted the International Conference on Advances in Interdisciplinary Statistics and Combinatorics (AISC)September 30-October 2, 2016. There were 12 plenary talks, 144 other talks (23 of which were given by students) and 160 delegates. Congratulations to Dr. Sat Gupta for organizing a successful conference.

The Department hosted another successful International Conference on Advances in Interdisciplinary Statistics and Combinatorics on Oct 10-12, 2014. The conference this year had a total of 184 delegates. There were 162 presentations including 33 by students. There were six undergraduates among student presenters. On October 5-7, 2012, UNCG will host a major international conference on Advances in Interdisciplinary Statistics and Combinatorics (AISC). The current North Carolina Chapter President for the American Statistical Association, Sat N. Gupta, will serve as conference chair.
