AISC Symposium 2025
June 14-15, 2025
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at UNC Greensboro will host a 2-day symposium “AISC 2025”. The symposium* will feature a few plenary talks and a small number of parallel sessions around the AISC theme (Advances in Interdisciplinary Statistics and Combinatorics).

Retirement Celebration
As you know, the AISC conference series started in 2007 under the leadership of Professor Sat Gupta. Professor Gupta has announced his retirement effective June 30, 2025, after a phenomenally successful 50-year academic journey (7 years at University of Delhi, 4 years at Colorado State University, 18 years at the University of Southern Maine, and 21 years at UNC Greensboro). The symposium will be a perfect setting to celebrate Professor Gupta’s retirement.

Participation is by invitation only. There is no registration fee. Meals will be provided but please fill out the registration form.
Venue & Parking
The symposium will take place in the Sullivan Science Building on the UNCG campus.
Parking will be provided for free at the nearby McIver Parking Deck, located across the street from the Sullivan Science Building. GPS address is 110 McIver St, Greensboro, NC 27412. Please take a ticket as you enter. The gates will open automatically as you approach the exit point.
For the banquet on June 14 in the evening, you can simply walk (about 10 minutes) to Alumni House, the banquet venue. Or else, you may take your car from the deck and park near the Alumni House in the parking lot next to Yum Yum Ice Cream shop, located at 1219 Spring Garden St, Greensboro, NC 27403 which is closer to the banquet venue. Please use only the non-metered slots.
Symposium Banquet
Symposium Banquet (For invited participants only) will be in the Alumni House located at 404 College Avenue, just behind the Elliot University Center and at the southern end of College Avenue, on June 14, 2025, at 6:30-9:00 pm. The banquet will feature a dinner and remarks by some of the attendees.
