From Raleigh, Durham or Chapel Hill, go south on I-85 or I-40 towards Greensboro (and Charlotte).
Shortly south of Durham and Chapel Hill, I-85 and I-40 join and run as one road until I-40 and Business-I-85 split off. I-85 goes towards Charlotte, I-40 goes towardsWinston-Salem, and Bus I-85 goes into Greensboro. On Business-I-85, after about 30 miles from the point where I-85 and I-40 join, take Exit 128 E. Lee Street (Greensboro). This exit has a sign pointing to several colleges, including theUniversity of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG).
Stay on Lee Street, 3 miles to S. Elm Street, over railroad tracks, and S. Eugene Street. STAY on Lee Street for one more mile, and you reach Tate Street. Turn (right is only possibility) onto TateStreet, go under railroad over-pass to first intersection. Turn left onto Spring Garden Street;you are now on the campus. Go three blocks to Stirling Street. Turn rightonto Stirling. You have reached Bryan Building,a large4 story, brownish-yellow brick building set at anangle to Spring Garden Street.
If you miss the turn at Tate Street, continue 1/2 mile on Lee Street to Aycock Street (if you see the Coliseum, you went too far). Turn right onto Aycock Street. On Aycock Street, go under train tracks (under-pass) to traffic light at Spring Garden Street.Turn right onto Spring Garden Street. You are now on the UNCG campus.Go three blocks to Stirling Street and turn left.
