Awards for Distinguished Service in the Department were presented to Haley Childers and Jan Rychtar

The first two Awards for Distinguished Service in the Department were presented to Haley Childers and Jan Rychtar. Haley was honored for sustained excellence as Business Services Coordinator, her willingness to assist beyond normal expectations, consistent cooperation and helpfulness, and initiative in performing tasks. Jan was honored for his dedication to undergraduate research, spearheading efforts to obtain external funding to support undergraduate research, and building a student research conference that has gained a national reputation for the Department and the University.
